Portals II is a collection of songs recorded by musicians who are part of the Progressive Music Society, an active and passionate online community of artists, fans and aficionados of a broad range of music which spans many genres—or even defies categorization altogether, but is related by inherent qualties in the music which could be considered "progressive" in nature.

The Portals project was overseen by Progressive Music Society list moderator Lew Fisher, and in it's second incarnation became something truly special. Each track takes the listener further into a pleasing and unexpected aural journey across the many different styles seamlessly interwoven throughout the four-disc set.
